Our Next CAUS Meeting & Other Events

Accomplishments
On Oct. 26, at 7 p.m., three CAUS members gave a presentation on KZYX Radio about the negative impact a slaughterhouse would have on the Ukiah Valley, then answered calls.
We've held three meetings so far to discuss the slaughterhouse issue. Each time the number of people attending were twice that of the previous meeting. Many have become members and supporters of our anti-slaughterhouse stance.
We've created this Web site to better communicate with the public about slaughterhouse issues and to let members and the public know about upcoming meetings, forums, radio programs.
Jan Allegretti, and several other C.A.U.S. members, have spoken at South Ukiah Rotary, the Board of Supervisors and have attended a Chamber of Commerce mixer. We will continue these important activities to keep our commuinty informed.
Members are writing letters to the editor that are being published in the Ukiah Daily Journal. This gets the slaugherhouse issue out into the larger community, thus igniting a healthy dialogue.
